Moving Forward

Forget the former tilings; do not dwell on the
past. See, I am doing a new thing! Now it
springs up; do you not perceive it?
Isaiah 43:18-19

“God intended for Israel to bring salvation to the world, but His chosen people continually
disobeyed His commands….Because God cared so much for us, He provided the ultimate way to be in communion with Him. He provided salvation through His own sacrifice- Jesus’ death on the cross. God’s amazing love provided the way that animal sacrifice could only prefigure: through Jesus, God provided himself, the Son, part of the triune God, as the only sacrificial atonement that could redeem our broken relationship with Him.

When we come to the end of ourselves and reach out to God, He.rescues us with salvation. We turn in a new direction to please Him. But that is not the end. Over and over again we need His help, and He is there for us. Because (jod loves us so much, He will walk with us through the uncertainties we face when we seek change to be better servants of Christ.
Being a Christ-follower guarantees a life of
change. As the Holy Spirit leads us to new
challenges, He provides the strength and wisdom we need to take the next step. These changes refine and perfect us until we stand before Him made in His image.
