Deliverance When All Seems Lost

Good creatively delivers His people.

And when the Israelites saw the great power the Lord displayed against the Egyptians, the people feared the Lord and put their trust in Him and in Moses His servant.

Exodus 14:31

” the Israelites were finally free. Worn down by the ten plagues, Pharaoh had at last ordered Modes to take the people put of Egypt. But the ordeal was far from over. Soon after the departure of the Israelites, Pharaoh changed his mind and ordered his army to pursue the fleeing nation…. Trapped between an advancing Egyptian army and the waters of the sea, God said, ‘Move on’…. The entire nation was to escape from Pharaoh by literally walking across the sea bed to the opposite shore… God could have saved Israel without marching then through the sea, but an easily explained escape would neither bring God glory nor convince the Egyptians…. By walking through the Red Sea, there could be no doubt in anyone’s mind. God had delivered Israel from Egypt.”
