Come, all you who are thirsty, come to the waters; and you who have no money, come, buy and eat!
Isaiah 55:1
God invites us to come to Him. Although sin is a barrier, He offers to forgive. The concept of
forgiveness is an example of how God’s
thinking is so vastly superior to ours. His Word,
flowing from Him to us, effectively accomplishes its purpose, which includes giving us positive promises.
An invitation to a wedding or other event often
includes an RSVP, indicating the sender desires a response. God longs for a relationship with us, but we must respond to His invitation. If you have not responded to God’s invitation to have a relationship with Him, why not prayerfully seek Him today and respond positively to God’s invitation?
